Hurley Transfer Station prices and policies

The current prices and policies for waste disposal the Town of Hurley Transfer Station, 1043 Dug Hill Road in West Hurley, are attached to this post as a PDF document. (Click the link below.)

The site operates from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (but is closed on Tuesday during weeks with a Monday holiday).

Annual permits cost $20 for Town of Hurley residents, $60 for others. They can be purchased with a check or money order (no cash) in the Town Clerk's Office at the Town Hall, 10 Wamsley Place.

Solid waste (trash) disposal at the Transfer Station costs 20 cents per pound, and payments at the site must be made with a pre-purchased punch card. The cards are available for $20 or $100 at the Transfer Station and the Town Clerk's Office, and they, too, must be purchased with a check or money order.

Items that the Transfer Station DOES NOT accept are: Paint, aerosols, chemicals, oil tanks, trees/tree trunks/stumps, construction and demolition debris, rubble, pharmaceuticals, medical sharps, and poisons.
