Building Department & Code Enforcement

The Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer:

• enforces the New York State building and fire code within the Town of Hurley.  
• further ensures that all local zoning and planning laws are followed,
• issues building permits,
• makes periodic and final inspections, 
• issues certificates of compliance or certificates of occupancy
• investigate complaints from individuals, the Planning Board, and the Zoning Board,

...all toward their goal of making Hurley's businesses and residences the safest in New York State.
