** The Transfer Station & Recycling Center is now able to accept brush and leaves from residents. We are not currently accepting commercial brush.

Description:

The Town of Hurley is focused on reducing solid waste, promoting the recycling of material, and advancing a clean, sustainable and environmentally conscious community. It is the ultimate goal of our program to foster educational links and stimulate collaboration between local government and all segments of our population: our youths, employees, visitors, homeowners, businesses and seasonal residents. Environmental responsibility requires a commitment from everyone.

  • Fluorescent Lamps - 8ft, 4ft, CFL's etc.

FOR SALE: Mulch $10.00/ yard (logs & brush ground to 2 inch minimum); Compost $10.00/yard  (unscreened leaf mulch)

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
CLOSED Sundays and Mondays
(Also: Closed on Tuesdays when a holiday falls on a Monday)

Wedneaday, Dec. 25 - Christmas Day

Generally, the Transfer Station closes during winter storms and might open late after overnight storms. The town posts closing/delay information on the home page of this website and on the "Town of Hurley, NY" Facebook page. Information also is available by calling (845) 338-5412. We will do our best to keep the phone message at that number updated with our current status.
