Transfer Station Brush Dropoff Update

Transfer Station & Recycling Center Policy Regarding Brush and Leaves

The Town of Hurley Transfer Station & Recycling Center is currently overrun with brush leftover from the ice storm. The Highway Department Supervisor is unwilling to deal with the surplus and as such, the town is working on an alternative plan.

Temporarily, we are unable to accept brush and leaves at the Transfer Station. We are working on getting the excess removed as quickly as possible to enable residents to resume being able to drop off brush. We encourage you to check the website for updates.
