Union gets Town Board's OK to represent Town Hall and Transfer Station employees
Unanimous vote at Dec. 11 special meeting

At a brief special meeting on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, The Hurley Town Board voted unanimously in favor of a resolution to recognize the United Public Service Employees Union (UPSEU) as the exclusive collective bargaining representative for Hurley Town Hall and Transfer Station employees.
The vote was 4-0, with one seat on the Board vacant.
This bargaining unit will be separate from the one that comprises Town Highway Department employees.
