Tim Kelly appointed to vacant seat on Town Board

Tim Kelly was appointed to the Hurley Town Board during its meeting on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024.

Kelly fills the seat that Mike Boms vacated to become Town Supervisor on Jan. 1. The vote to appoint Kelly was 4-0.

Kelly’s appointment is in effect until a special election is held in November for the remaining year of Boms’ original term.

Kelly grew up in Hurley and has a degree in Agribusiness Management from Penn State.

He formerly worked for a subsidiary of Vail Resorts in Colorado.
