Town Board meeting

The oft-rescheduled next meeting of the Hurley Town Board has been rescheduled again – this time to Thursday, April 18, 2024.

The meeting will start at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall, 10 Wamsley Place, and is open to the public.

For those of you who haven’t been following the Meeting Date Moving Target Saga:

• It originally was scheduled for Tuesday, April 23. But that’s the second night of Passover.
• So we moved it to Thursday, April 25, overlooking that the Town Planning Board already has a meeting scheduled for that night. (And if you’ve ever been in the Town Hall, you know there’s no way it can accommodate two meetings at once.)
• So we settled – or so we thought – on Wednesday, April 24. But a member who would like to attend is unavailable that night.

So now, there’s consensus – we hope – that April 18 will work for all involved.
