The Hurley Planning Board voted on Wednesday, Aug. 30, to approve Southern Development and Realty LLC's site plan to construct a drive-thru Dunkin' shop at the northwest corner of Routes 28 and 375 in West Hurley.

The resolution (CLICK HERE for full text) contains numerous conditions the developer must meet before a building permit will be issued. They are listed on pages 15, 16 and 17, though three changes were made before the resolution was approved:

* On Page 15, in Section 2, Subsection E, the sentence “Food items, such as donuts, bagels, rolls, etc, will not be baked on the Property” was removed.
* On Page 16, in Section 2, Subsection L, the phrase “PERM 33 issuance” was removed.
* On Page 16, in Section 2, Subsection M, the phrase “PERM 32 issuance” was removed.

The vote to approve the site plan was 5-0, with three members absent and no abstentions. The absent members were Debbie Kosar, Griff Liewa and Diana Cline. One of the "yea" votes was cast by alternate member Mitchell Cohen.
