Public hearings set on Central Hudson's proposed rate hikes

Central Hudson schedules 4 public hearings about proposed rate hikes

The New York State Public Service Commission will hold four public hearings about Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp.’s proposal to increase its delivery rates for electricity and natural gas by 16% and 19%, respectively.

All of the hearings will be held virtually and by phone.

The first two hearings will be at 1 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12.

The third and fourth hearings will be at 1 and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Central Hudson wants the higher delivery rates to take effect July 1, 2024.
