Free outdoor movie Aug. 31 at West Hurley firehouse

The next free outdoor movie at the West Hurley firehouse will be “DC League of Superpets.”

The family-friendly animated film (2022, rated PG, 105 minutes) will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, on a 20-foot outdoor screen at 24 Wall St. in West Hurley. Moviegoers can sit outdoors (bring lawn chairs and/or blankets) or, in the spirit of drive-ins, watch the movie from their vehicles and listen to the audio via FM transmission.

The voice actors include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kate McKinnon, Kevin Hart and Natasha Lyonne.

Popcorn, other snacks and beverages will be available.

The movie is being presented by the West Hurley Fire Department and the West Hurley Public Library.
