Free conference July 29 for region's watershed landowners

A free conference for owners of land in New York City’s upstate watershed will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Bearsville Theater, 291 Tinker St. (Route 212), Woodstock.

The Ashokan Watershed Conference, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature programs, access to resources, demonstrations, film screenings, family-friendly activities, and Q&A sessions. 

An information session for new landowners (with lunch) will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A landowners’ forum and family activities will run from 1 to 4 p.m.
