Hurley is an historic Hudson Valley town of 6,700 people ideally situated between the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains. Native Lenape people lived in the fertile Esopus Creek Valley before the area now known as Hurley was settled by the Dutch in 1662. The town is comprised of the hamlets of Old Hurley, West Hurley, and Glenford.
