Appeal Process

Please bear in mind that decisions from the Building Department are based strictly on Town Zoning Regulations, and are most often not the result of a complaint. After the Code Enforcement Officer or Zoning Enforcement Officer has denied your request to alter your property, if you dis-agree with the determination/denial, you may file an appeal. The Application is under forms.  Once you complete the application and pay the required fee, you will be placed on the ZBA Agenda. All Appeals require a public hearing. Once the public hearing is closed, the ZBA has 62 days to render a determination.
